Somatic Breathwork

We live in a stressful world. In our mentally-dominant society, we're thinking all of the time. We might as well live inside our own heads rather than the physical world. But stress doesn't just exist in our heads. It also lives in our bodies.

Oftentimes, we decide in our minds that we've processed our stress, but we haven't actually allowed our bodies to feel and process that stress how it needs to. We can't intellectualize our way out of our emotions. They are meant to be felt.

Somatic breathwork is a powerful, introspective practice that aims to reconnect the mind back to the body. We use the breath to tap into the innate intelligence of our bodies, creating the opportunity to process any suppressed emotions or trauma. 

This inward journey consists of a simple breathing technique set to rhythmic music. The first half of the session is higher-energy, encouraging a cathartic emotional release in your body. The second half is deeply relaxing for nervous system regulation. 

Expect a deeper connection to yourself: body, mind and soul.

My approach is to meet you with kindness, empathy, and patience. I'll push you into your growth zone while honoring your boundaries and embracing your unique journey.
